Funding & Fees

Government Funding

We accept all forms of Government Funding listed below for children from ages 2 and above.  If you wish to split your funded sessions between more than one child care provider, this is not a problem, please discuss your options with us.

Funded hours are valid from 9am-3pm, Monday - Friday

Please use the eligibility checker on Best Start in Life to see if you are eligible for any Government Funding Support.

3 & 4 Year Old Universal Entitlement

The term after your child has turned 3, they are entitled to 15 hours funded universal funding  (no code or application required)

2 Year Old Funding

Families who meet certain criteria or who receive benefits such as Universal Credit or Disability Living Allowance may be eligible for 15 hours per week funded childcare through the local authority.  Please contact your local authority if you wish to enquire.

Working Parents Entitlement

Working parents of 2, 3 & 4 year olds who meet the eligibility criteria will be entitled to a total of 30 hours funded childcare per week.  We require an eligibility code given to parents from HMRC prior to check funding status and confirm a space.

Hourly Fees

If your child is not eligible for any funding support, or attends over their funded hours per week, an hourly rate will be charged for any additional hours according to their age at the start of the term.

Age 2-3

For children aged 2 years to 3 years the hourly rate is £8.00.

Aged 3 and above – 15 hour Funded

For children over 3 years who attend over their funded 15 hours the hourly rate is £7.25.

Wrap Around Care

We now offer a Breakfast Club, offering an early morning drop-off from 8:30am Mondays - Fridays.  This is charged at £5 per session.  Government funded hours cannot be used towards these sessions.

Our After School Clubs are now running from 3-4pm, Mondays – Thursdays.  This is charged at £10 per session.  Government funded hours cannot be used towards these sessions.

Voluntary Contribution Fee

We kindly ask for a voluntary termly contribution fee of £25.00 per child which will be added to your invoice. Families can opt in or out, there is no obligation and it is paid completely at your own discretion.

Invoices

Invoices are issued for the term in advance and all fees are payable before the end of term.  For families on low incomes, extra help with fees is sometimes available from the Department of Social Security, or through Child Tax Credit.

We accept payment from all Childcare Vouchers schemes or through the Tax Free Childcare system

Fees must still be paid if children are absent without notice for a short period of time. If your child has to be absent over a long period of time, please come and see us to discuss.

A term's notice is required if you are removing your child or reducing the number of sessions attending, otherwise the relevant additional fees will be payable.

For fully funded placements, no notice is necessary if you wish to remove them.
